Muryel de Oliveira

Muryel is a structural draftsman and Tekla Structures specialist with strong experience in steel detailing and structural design. He enjoys the problem-solving side of the role, bringing structural and architectural plans together to create clear, buildable, and accurate detailing for each project.

He works closely with design, fabrication, and installation teams, producing high-quality technical drawings that strictly follow New Zealand Standards and best drafting practices.

Muryel began his career in Brazil at the age of 17 as a structural draftsman before qualifying as a structural engineer and working on a wide range of projects across the country. Since moving to New Zealand in 2016, he has worked on everything from residential and commercial buildings to strengthening and bespoke metalwork projects.

Detail-focused and collaborative, Muryel plays an important role in delivering reliable structural steel solutions from design through to construction.
