About the Team at Queenstown Engineering

Queenstown Engineering was first established in 2003 as a one-man operation.  The company had a change of ownership in 2006, again in May 2009 and a change of Shareholders in April 2021.

The current directors of Queenstown Engineering 2009 Limited are Justin Taylor, Jason Moss and Adam Klimeck. Together, they have grown the business through an increased focus on 'Delivering beyond expectation'.

Queenstown Engineering continues   to   be   one   of the major engineering companies servicing the construction industry in Central Otago today.

We are based in Queenstown and employ 17 - 20 full-time staff.  We are also Site Safe NZ qualified and actively support Apprentice Training New Zealand ATNZ, and Competenz who are encouraging young New Zealanders to become qualified tradespeople.

Queenstown Engineering’s most significant point of difference is our Steel Fabrication Certification (SFC™) ISO 3834.   This ensures we have proven knowledge, understanding and competence in manufacturing structural steel according to international best practice.

In 2013, Queenstown Engineering custom-built and moved into its new engineering workshop on Glenda Drive (some 600 + square metres) complete with a 3T overhead gantry crane, abrasive blasting, beamline and galvanising facilities.

A natural addition to the business was the opening in 2015 of the Queenstown Engineering Bolt Store – a showroom with a full range of Konnect nuts, bolts, and screws available to the public and local trades for purchase.
